Why Dalysie built DailyDone
DailyDone is made by Dalysie, an independent software company in Norway. We build the kind of tools we wanted for ourselves: quick to use, private by default, and honest about what they cost.
Everyday document work should take two minutes. Merge a few PDFs, convert a file, turn a bank statement into figures you can actually use. Yet the usual tools make you upload everything to a stranger, sit through ads, create an account, or install something heavy just to get one small thing done. We thought that was backwards.
So we built DailyDone to do the opposite. Most tools run right in your browser, so the file never leaves your computer. The heavier jobs, like turning a statement into a checked spreadsheet, run on our servers, do their work, and delete the file straight after. Anything you want to keep goes into your own private, encrypted Drive, and stays yours.
Dalysie is based in Norway and works under EU data protection law. We are independent and pay our own way, which keeps our incentives simple: we answer to the people who use our tools, not to advertisers. We do not sell your data, and we never train anything on your documents.
If a job can run on your device, it should. If it has to run on ours, we have to earn that, and then get out of your way.
What we stand for

- The small stuff should be quick and obvious, not a project. If a job takes two minutes by hand, it should take less than that with us.

- Your files are yours. They run on your device wherever they can, and when a job needs our servers, the file is deleted the moment it is done.

- When we handle figures, like a bank statement or a receipt, we check the maths rather than just reading it back to you.
- Honest, European, independent
- A Norwegian company, hosted in the EU, with no ads and clear prices shown before you buy. We answer to the people who use our tools.
