Terms of Service

Last updated 24 July 2026

Plain-language terms for using DailyDone. Please read them; using the service means you accept them.

The short version

DailyDone gives you simple tools to get everyday document jobs done. Use it for your own lawful files, keep your account details safe, and pay for the paid tools you choose to use. The tools are provided as they are, so keep your own copies of anything important and check the results before you rely on them. These terms are the agreement between you and us.

Who we are

DailyDone is a document-tools service operated by Dalysie AS. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “DailyDone” mean that service, and “you” means the person using it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your files and data and forms part of these terms.

Using DailyDone

You can use the free tools without an account. Some tools run on our servers or need credits or a Pro plan. You must be at least 16 years old to use DailyDone, and you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your password and any recovery codes safe and do not share them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@getdailydone.com if you think someone else has access. Keep your details accurate so we can run the service and reach you about it.

Your files and content

Your files stay yours. We do not claim any ownership of them. By using a tool, you give us permission to process your file only to perform the job you asked for, and, for the tools that run on our servers, to upload it over a secure connection and delete it right after. You are responsible for having the right to use and process the files you upload, and for making sure they do not break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights.

Sharing and shared links

DailyDone lets you share a file or folder with people you invite, or through a link. When you share something, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you are responsible for who you give access to. A share link works for anyone who has it, so treat it like a key and only send it to people you trust; you can turn a link off at any time. Anyone you invite, and anyone who opens a link, must also follow these terms. We may disable a share or link that breaks these terms or is reported to us.

Connected accounts

You can connect a cloud account such as Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox to import files into DailyDone. When you do, we access only the files you choose to import, and your use of that account stays subject to that provider’s own terms. You can disconnect it at any time.

Acceptable use

Please do not use DailyDone to work with content that is illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or contains malware; to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service; to get around usage limits, security or payment; to reverse engineer or copy the service; or to resell it without our permission. We may limit or block use that breaks these rules or puts the service or other people at risk.

Reporting content

If you believe a file or a shared link on DailyDone is illegal or infringes your rights, email us at support@getdailydone.com with the details and the link. We will review it and remove or disable it where appropriate.

Credits, Pro and payments

Many tools are free. Others use credits or a Pro plan. Credits are bought in advance and spent when you run a paid tool. Pro is a subscription that renews automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices are shown before you buy and may change over time, with any change applying to future purchases. Payments are handled by Paystack in Ghana and by Polar (as merchant of record) elsewhere, and any applicable taxes may be added. Credits do not expire. Once bought, credits and completed subscription periods are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital purchase; because the tools and credits are made available to use straight away, by buying you ask us to begin at once and accept that this right ends once you start using them. If something goes wrong on our side, contact us at support@getdailydone.com and we will put it right.

Storage plans and what happens if a plan lapses

Paid storage gives you space above the free allowance that comes with every account. If a storage or Pro plan is not renewed (for example a payment fails or you cancel), your benefits end at the end of the paid period and your quota returns to the free allowance. Your files are not deleted straight away. While your stored files are over the free allowance and the plan stays unpaid, downloads of those files are paused after a grace period; the amount above your free allowance is then moved to a recoverable “Pending deletion” area; and, if the plan is still unpaid after the retention period, that overflow is permanently deleted. Everything within your free allowance stays available throughout. We send reminders before anything is removed, and renewing at any point before the final deletion restores your files and access automatically. The exact grace and retention periods are shown in the app and in the reminders we send.

Family plans

A Family plan gives one account a shared pool of storage for a household. The account that buys the plan is the owner: they are the customer we bill, they manage who is in the household, and they can see how much of the shared pool is used, but not the contents of members’ files. Each member keeps their own account and their own files. If the owner cancels the plan or removes a member, that member’s storage returns to their own free allowance, and the lapse process above applies to anything then over it. Members can leave at any time.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep DailyDone available and reliable, but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, pause or remove tools and features, and we may carry out maintenance. Where a change is significant, we will try to let you know.

No warranty

DailyDone and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Automated conversions, OCR, redaction, document reading and similar tools are not perfect, so please review the results before you rely on them, and keep your own copies of anything important. You use the tools at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of DailyDone. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law. Where liability is allowed to be limited, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim.

Our intellectual property

The DailyDone name, brand, website and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These terms do not give you any rights in them beyond using the service as intended. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve DailyDone without any obligation to you.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using DailyDone at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing support@getdailydone.com. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, if it is needed to protect the service or other people, or if we are required to by law. If we end your access for a serious breach, unused credits may be forfeited to the extent the law allows.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as DailyDone grows or as the law changes. When we make a meaningful change we will update the date below and, where appropriate, let you know. By continuing to use DailyDone after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, where Dalysie AS is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. We will always try to resolve any issue with you directly first, so please reach out.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours to a successor of our business. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about DailyDone. Neither of us is responsible for a failure caused by events beyond reasonable control.
